The Hairy Biker's Cookbook

I've just been watching this programme caled the Hairy Biker's Cookbook on (BBC2 8.00PM Thursday 6 Jan).

It features 2 guys on bikes touring Portugal sampling the local quisine including it has to be said some pretty good looking sausage and hams. Ending with one of them turning the inspection pit in his garage into a barbeque pit to roast a suckling pig. Inginuity or what !

Troube was I got interupted right through the programme by my mates phoning me saying 'there's 2 blokes on the tele who are just like you. Are you watching it ?'

I couldn't believe it and neither could my other half who laughed all the way through it. These are big bearded geordies who ride Triumph motorbikes with a liking for sausage and pork. That's me to a tee I'm afraid right down to my steed of choice the Triumph motorbike.

Frightening !
