abbatoir video

Here is a link to the whole slaughtering process, the compnay 'Chadwick's' is only a few miles from me and is a first class outfit.

There is a warning before you are allowed to view the video but it isn't too bad and it is no bad thing to find out what happens to your animal before it arrives on your plate.

Thanks Franco

I found that very educational - last time I saw anything killed and butchered was on a farm more years ago than I care to admit to. The farmer was killing one of his pigs for the family, not so different from the video except the pig was killed outdoors.

I will do my best to make sure my kids (4 so far, no. 5 on the way) all understand where their food comes from when they're old enough to understand.

Cheers
