Me neither. That's why I live in Texas. It is a sign of rank provincialism to confuse Texas with America.

Whether you like it or not Texas is part of America and you are the provincial to see it any other way.

You might consider making some new friends who are not so insular. I bet that if you lived in Texas for a while, you would never go back to Old Blimey. Just ask all the expats who live here.

Insular this is from someone who will not travel outside Texarse. LOL

If your opinion is based on expats with your beliefs to the right of Genghis Khan and a gun to plug any trespassers I am not surprised they would agree with you out of fear for their lives.

Why would you expect us to know anything about Texas it is only a small part of the Americas even a smaller part of the world .

How did you know? Could it be because the highest place in Texas is 300 ft above sea level?

As for
Notice how quickly the state authorities tackled that problem.

Good job us Brits had it first or you would not have had a clue what to do.

And for that we thank you. Any new diseases we need to know about?

I use unseasoned white breadcrumbs. But use them sparingly, even in bangers. There is a point where too much can ruin the sausage.

I found that between 1 and 2 TBS. breadcrumbs, plus an equal amount of water, is enough per pound of meat. Anymore and the finished sausage tastes mealy.

I do not recommend using adjuncts or extenders in most sausage recipes. If a recipe like bangers calls for it, use it sparingly. Otherwise don't.

I don't care where you're from, I'm here to moderate these discussions and that is what I'm doing.
I found a line of chat that was leading to insulting comments being made and requested that it stop.
Also did I mention you by name?
If you take the time to read my original post again you will find that the request was to ALL involved in the argument and not just you.

End of discussion.

You are sticking your nose into something that is none your business.

Your opinion is no better than anyone else's on a public forum.

Also did I mention you by name?

Yes, you did, when you quoted something I previously posted.

If you take the time to read my original post again you will find that the request was to ALL involved in the argument and not just you.

There was no argument, just a discussion.

End of discussion.

No, it is not the end of the discussion.

We were engaged in friendly banter, something that would have been obvious if you had participated in the entire thread.

Everyone knows that Texans are very proud of their country, which is something that cannot be said about the British. So I was keeping with tradition.

The reason that Texas sausages are world famous is because they are so big and hard, which cannot be said about British sausages because they are full of breadcrumbs, making them small and limp.
