My older daughter will be attending the University of the West of England, Franchay Campus, in Bristol, starting in mid-September. I'd like to see her off to school, but whether I will be able to come over with her will depend on when my next contract starts. The closest I've been to a visit to the UK was a layover at Heathrow on the way to Barcelona, and a sprint between terminals 1 and 4 on the way from Barcelona back to the US (my bags did not sprint as fast, unfortunately).
I've collected many sausage books over the years, but I'm wondering if there are any you think of as 'standards' in the UK, to which I might not have particular access, here in the US? Things sausage that I should look for, if I have the chance to visit, or that I should have my daughter attempt to locate during the nine months she will be there?
