...will I get used to the fact that my homemade sausages are meatier than the ones I usually eat?
Yesterday I had my first successful go at making sausages. Today I cooked one up to try them out (the rest are in the freezer ready for a Full English on Sunday). Just tried it and I'm pretty impressed. I made a very basic banger with pork belly, salt, quatre-espices, breadcrumbs and a small ammount of water. It just seems so meaty. I'm used to eating supermarket sausages which, I suppose, are a bit "pappy". I'm sure I'll get used to it, but so much meat seems so wrong LOL.

The first time you will realise you have got used to proper meaty sausages is when someone next feeds you supermarket stodge.

Then you'll wonder how you managed to eat such cr*p in the past :)
