If you have uploaded the images to some place like imageshack, just use the
Img bbcode tag (just highlight the URL, and click in the Img button above)or use standard HTML code like:

Code: Select all
<IMG SRC=http://www.url.com/image.jpg>
[/img]

I have just lifted this from my board which someone had posted, it runs the same as this board phpBB

Signing up to Photobucket:
===================
Go to http://photobucket.com/
Select "Sign up free"
Put your details in and register.

Adding an album to Photobucket
=======================
Go to your photobucket page & log in.
In the "add album" text box type a new album name and click create.
You will see the albums at the bottom of the page. Select the album
to navigate to it. At the bottom it will state that the album is empty.

If you need to the top left of the page will allow you to navigate back and then navigate forward to any other album name.

Adding a picture to Photobucket
======================
Within your album select the "browse" button for the "add picture" text box. This brings up a dialogue box which you can use to navigate around your hard drive and select an image. The valid file types are listed just below the button.
After you have located the picture on your hardrive, and exited the dialogue, you then have to select the "submit" button. You will then see the picture being uploaded.

Its worthwhile resizing your picture to 640 x 480 or less, and ensuring that the picture is much less than 256k. A jpg at 72dpi, for a mere 50k is surprisingly good. Photobucket should resize any picture for you to less than 256k - but I wouldn't be surprised if it needs to upload it first - which might be a bit time consuming.

Posting a picture.
============
The picture will have three boxs below it; URL, Tag, IMG.
Click in the IMG box - this will select the line of text. Then select Ctrl-C to copy it. You can the paste the line of text within your post using Ctrl-V.
