bbq seasonings

Postby Franco » Fri May 27, 2005 7:09 pm

I'm just about to launch a range of dry bbq marinades, does anyone want to try some before the launch ? I'll send out to the first 10 replies. Let me know what you think because I appreciate feedback.

They will include, Texas hickory smoke, Greek lamb, Tuscan summer blend, Chaing mai Thai sweet mix , Tandoori etc. etc.

Thanks

Franco

I don't want to try the marinades thank you Franco, I can't BBQ. The flat would fill with smoke and we would have the fire brigade round.

But I'm sure plenty of people will. Good luck with them.

I would like to try them.. My BBQ is built under a lean-to and is used pretty much all year.. and it looks like we are getting the weather now. There is a pic of it in the woodwork section of my site (site not finished yet, only a couple of pages so far)

I take it they can be added as a dry ingredient whilst mixing, as well as a dry marinade?

Having some BBQ chops and bangers tomorrow (saturday) then some friends round on wednesday for a sausage evening.. will cook some of my burgers as well..

Yes please Franco! When you say BBQ do you mean as in 200C and sizzle or in a nice pit style smoker? Either way i am sure they will be good! How long do you leave the rub to marinade?

Talking about BBQing have you seen these. Recommended by Jamie Oliver, the Rolls Royce of BBQ's. With a price to match.

Anniversary present to each other? Wow, you have a very accomodating wife! :-)

I also got one from Costco, but last year they were doing a different model:

I got the two burner model of this one.

So.

Sausagemakers do it with gas

I personally always likes the wood BBq's I thought they gave a better flavour.

Sorry I thought the competition was still goin on for a moment.

Looks nice. Looking at picture 13 I bet you wouldn't mind the back garden to go with it.
