Are we talking about a smoker with a fire box on the side? If so I might be able to help.

Google is your friend. Here is a good review of it. An inexpensive copy of a Weber Smoky Mountain.

It is the one that has 2 bowls. 1 for coal at the bottom and one for water in the middle

I Have one, they are very basic and don't work very well at all. The good news is they're easy to modify and turn into something you can smoke on quite well. Just google ECB mods or go on you tube. The most important mods are to move the legs from the inside to the outside of the smoker to allow access to the coals and putting a vent in the bottom to control airflow. Once you're use to them they can be OK. I converted mine to gas, much better for longer smokes.

Very basic unit, needs some mods to work better, they work fine for hot smoking things like chicken, burgers, ABT's, moink balls. Not very good for doing sausage or anything that needs control. They are cheap and you get what you pay for.
