Where to buy, how to use. Stuffers, casings, spices, grinders, etc.

Now thinking of moving from a grinder attached stuffer, to a dedicated one.
Is horizontal or vertical purely a matter of preference - Or are there in your opinion's advantages of one over the other? I am considering a 5 litre vertical machine & would welcome any advice.
Nostalgia is not what it used to be !

Hi,
I have used both. I prefer the upright all stainless version and have had the 5 kg model for a few years now. The upright is easier to load. Just make sure you pack the mix in tight to eliminate air bubbles.
Good Luck,
Jan.

All my stuffers are vertical hopper or vertical feed, I can't imagine a horizontal stuffer being in any way convenient. I'd stick with the vertical for ease of loading and packing. Air bubbles in the load are not your friend.
