I just recently bought a Mtn 3000 Gearsmith meat grinder. So far I am regretting it. Everytime I use it, it produces a dark sludge coming from the back of the auger, where there is a metal and a plastic washer. I have read on here where some had a similar problem but it was coming from the front blade. Has anyone else had this problem, or know how I can fix it?? I bought it off ebay and I can't seem to find a number of anyone to call for service with this brand. Thanks

It's aluminum rubbing off, it's why I don't like meat grinders with any aluminum parts.

ah..so I guess I'll have to replace parts already lol. geesh.... I wish I would've done more research before buying it. Lesson learned.
