Im from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and would like to buy sausage casing.

Hi Sharon,
The sausagemaking Shop might send to Malaysia, just send them an email to find out.
Otherwise check out Ebay UK, Tong Master and/or Ebay AU.
Quarantine can cause problems without the correct paperwork.

Jan.

Your best bet is to try a large meat supplier at your local fresh market. They will most likely have, or can get for you.

I live in Penang and have similar issues.

Looks like I will be buying raw hog casings from the slaughterhouse and cleaning them myself. I did 20 feet or so as an experiment and it worked out fine. A bit messy.

I've been told I can purchase from Thailand, however I've yet to locate a supplier.

Hi Sharon,
Just email or message me if you need either fresh salted casings or collagen and the sizes needed.
Collagen casings might be easier if you have Quarantine issues in Malaysia.
My email address: janooms@bigpond.com.
Cheers,
Jan.

We buy all our hog casings from a local market here, most of them carry them, but its local, not internet or a large company that processes these. You can go to about any larger fresh market here and if they don't have them that day, they can get them the next. A salted hank goes for about B250-B300.

Unfortunately the local markets here do not sell hog casings.... Very frustrating.

The slaughterhouse may clean them for me if I place a large enough regular order. Here's hoping the local market for non-halal sausages supports large casing orders.
