That's not much dearer than a diy solution - great find.

Does that include vac packer?

I got the deal of the century when I bought a "Sous Vide Supreme" 10L bath and vacuum packer for £35 from a car boot sale, all in perfect working order and with two full rolls of textured bags.

I've picked one up from ebay this evening, looking forward to playing with it. I've been tempted for quite a while and took the plunge.

Serious Eats do too.

This book is quite good too. As far as I'm aware it's the only book on sous vide with British measurements/ recipes (no 'cups').

Thanks, that's very useful. It arrives tomorrow, so I'm gearing up for something towards the end of the week. I'll post results.
