Hi,

I am currently using a Kitchen Aid attachment for stuffing my sausage casings and it is a real pain.

I am looking for a dedicated stuffer for about £150, will go higher if needed.

Can anyone recommend one that is easy to obtained in the U.K.?

Thank you in advance.

Cheers

Gary

Hi Gary,
Most sausage stuffers I've seen are manufactured in China. If you buy one, do purchase a stainless model, 2 speed with steel gears and 4 various size stuffing tubes. I have the 5 litre model but a 3 litre model is sufficient for my usage as refilling is easy and quick. I prefer the upright model, horizontal models are available. The choice is yours.
I've used one now for many years and never had a problem yet.
Cheers,
Jan.

Hi,

Thanks for the replies.

crustyo44 - What model do you use?

fusion555 - This looks really good, have you used this model before?

Cheers

Hi Gary,
I own the Pro-V-5L upright model for many years now without problems. Do consider the 3 litre stainless upright and horizontal models as well. The difference is that they use up more bench space.
The sausage meat mix left in the elbow on the upright models I use for a fry up for a breakfast patty the next morning.
Cheers,
Jan.

I have a similar stuffer to the vertical ones. The one's on the forum owners shop site have always received good reviews. I believe that they are italian made, so should be good.

Hi,

Jan - I am interested in the Pro-V 3L, Any issues with stability, while using the stuffer. Does it need to be fixed or is it free standing.

Wheels - The forum owners shop has the Pro-V models so I shall probably go for one of those.

Cheers

Gary

Hi,

Thanks for all your input.

I went for a Royal Catering vertical stuffer and it works a treat.

Cheers
