Cleaning a Trespade Slicer 195

Postby RichardAllen » Mon Feb 06, 2023 1:01 pm

Any tips for cleaning a Trespade Slicer 195 ? Especially between the blade edge and the guard, preferably without taking the blade off the machine (or indeed blowing bits of ham around the workshop with compressed air )! ?
All help much appreciated

Hi Richard.
Great piece of kit but a bugger to clean, have a 12" slicer similar to yours. I dont drag mine out unless I have something that derserves the cleaning time that follows.
No tricks in my cleaning shedule except to clean ASAP after use and keep Unit covered.
I do remove sliding feeder and clean seperately.
Steaming hot water with sponge & dishwashing liquid, remove all remonents of product that you can see.
Rise many times, then I spray all moving parts with a "No Rinse" sanitisation solution and keep slicer covered.
I respray just before I use again. Good Luck. :D
