Where to buy, how to use. Stuffers, casings, spices, grinders, etc.

"King Chef" sausage Stuffer

Postby royt » Wed Mar 15, 2006 11:23 am

In a mad moment while browsing E-Bay I made a bid for one of these stuffers purely for test running various mixes etc and I won the thing for 6 quid .I must admit for small quantities this stuffer is A1++++ and as for filling sheep casings its magic! Has anyone else purchased one and do they feel the same about them or is it me being easily pleased!

I agree.
I've had one for years, great for test runs etc.
I've taken it with me (with some skins) when visiting friends and family abroad to experiment with local ingredients and flavours.
Very useful.

Looks good - anyone know where I can get one? :-)

Seems idea for those small runs of sausage tests.

They are still on sale on ebay for a tenner.......but they are not the same as Spuddyies one.

There are more like a glorified mastic gun which can be bought anywhere for a couple of quid.

Spuddies looks like the barrel is reasonable to fill but these barrels appear to be much thinner and you would have a problem stuffing the B... barrel first.

but have a look........

I have got the one that Rik has shown its perfectly alright to use and fill up. It takes 3 fills to push through a pound of mix and you can do a kilo of sausages in about 8-10 minutes

They are exactly the same, just a different colour.
The camera angle makes the grey one look slightly thinner but they ARE the same and, as royt says, are easy to fill.
