I expect you've read the Porkert thread and I'd like to ask if there's any chance you could supply these LEM Jerky Guns that Bob mentioned.
I don't suppose I'm the only one that would like to use a piston type sausage filler but thinks the Reber ones are a bit over the top (maybe I am!!). I don't only have an issue with the price, I don't doubt for one minute you get what you pay for but sometimes we don't really need what we've got, it's also the fact that I would really struggle to find somewhere to store one.
I hope you can work something out. I'm really strugling to find this type of thing over here (the company Parson gave didn't have a clue what I was talking about). I'm sure something like this would appeal to the small-scale sausagemaker.
Thanks.

I think that this is a great idea if the company below have done their homework.

Don't forget biltong - similar to jerky - but solid meat instead of ground meat.

Franco

You can add my name to the list , as I would use one for educational purposes. ( no pressure)

Sorry, but reading my post again I feel that I need to clarify it.

You now have what seems to be a rather large company that has recently started selling jerky in the UK/Europe. If they have done their homework, which I personally think they have, then lots of people in the UK will buy jerky if for nothing more than to try it,
and out of these quite a few will enjoy it
and out of these quite a few will want to make their own (regardless of how cheap the company is selling its products at) just because they will want to experiment with their own recipes. This is where Franco comes in, before somebody else does it.

I hope that makes it clearer

kind regards

I've sent an email to LEM to ask about being the UK distributor, I'll let you know how I get on.

Thanks Franco. Let's hope they're keen to get into the UK market.
