Dave how is your sealer doing? I don't have one yet. Do you use the roll or bags most?

Bagsoffreshness are doing VPS518 Vacuum Sealer + roll + Canisters Special Offer Price £69.95.

Its really good, I use a mixture of bags and rolls depending on the size of the victim :) Bags are easiest if they are the right shape and size. I wish I'd got some canisters at the same time as they are quite expensive to obtain on their own.

It has been a while since this topic was discussed but I buy my 28cm rolls in 24's at a time and I am just about to reorder. However I bought a mixer from a company called Andrew James (first class by the way) for my daughter for Christmas and I did notice they do rolls but at half the price of BOF. Does anyone know if a roll of vac pack is a roll aof vac pack and it fits any machiene, or do you have to buy the one that is "recommended" by the seller? I notice on the BOF website that they say their rolls fit all vac packers - yours confused

I think that they're interchangeable. The only thing that I'd want to check would be the gauge of the plastic.

I tend to buy bags as they work out much cheaper.
