Hi there, I need your help, I'm looking for a mincer?? not sure if it is called that way, it's not to make ground meat, it's more mincing the meat in to small pieces, here is a picture that looks simular to what I'm looking for
http://www.metzgerei-kohnen.de/assets/images/schwein5.jpg

I had this gadget to use from my friend, but he does not like it to much when he has to lend his appliances

in the Sausage Maker catalogue I sah the " Meat Cuber" is that what I'm looking for?
http://www.sausagemaker.com/31260meatcuberstainlesssteel.aspx

or is it more the slicer?

http://www.sausagemaker.com/32040manualjerkyslicer.aspx

the one above with the picture that I was borrowing from my friend , works like this, you cut the meat in to cubes and put them in there and the cubes get slices , very simple.
does anyone has this gadet and can tell me about it please :)

I really need to find a gadget that does what I need. please help
thanks :)

I think what you are looking for is what we call in the trade a 'meat tenderizer. Try this link.

http://www.meattenderizerworld.com/

if so there are usually second hand ones around at good prices

thanks briCan, well I have not really thought on a price, since I have no idea what they are worth here in canada, the one I was using was just a small attachment to a grinder, that option would be awesome, but I can't afford the big havy duty machines the prfessionals have :(

so what can I say 200.00 $$ ??? I have really no clue

Had to go and have the belt replaced on my slicer this a.m. and while there I did esquire about this for you. They showed me a fairly new on that was in the link I posted, price is too much.

Any way he said he had a thing (his words) that I might be interested in ...... yes you guessed it I am almost sure it is what you are looking for. It is a stand alone fixture with two sets of blades, looks really dangerous  It needs a wash after which I will take photos and post, if it is what you are looking for let me know.

I have found what you are looking for, this one is a standalone meaning that it dose not attach to anything to work. The bonus is that it comes with two blades so you have the choice of thick or thin. I have had the machine up and working both forwards as well as reverse :? this levees me confused as to why the reverse.

The reverse is probably just to help clear any blockages that may occur

The label on the side says it's a KUN SHAN HOO IRON WORKS
TP-101 Table type single aperture meat cutting machine. If that helps...
Curing is not an exact science... So it's not a sin to bin.

Whatever it is, it looks like it should be condemned. I wouldn't eat anything that had been through that monstrosity! :x
