Welcome Keenasmustard..

For a moment there I thought my son had decided to take up sausage making. He moved to Melbourne from the UK a few months ago. Emailed him to verify.. not him..

You could try to contact:-

Contacting ABC Goulburn Murray

Chef: Tora La Rossa
Wodonga sausage maker

Address:

Wodonga Studio;
1 High Street
Wodonga, Victoria, 3690
or
PO Box 1063
Wodonga, Victoria, 3689

Shepparton Studio;
265a Maude Street
Shepparton, Victoria, 3630

Phone:
Wodonga
1300 147 222 (talkback)

I believe she is a TV chef, (used to be a circus performer, just imagine lion sausages or clown salami LOL) and if she's instructing people on making sausages I should think you may glean some useful information from her.

Hope this of assistance, Paul Kribs

Hi,

I can send seasonings and skins pretty cheaply via Royal Mail to Oz but stuffers and machinery can be quite expensive due to their weight,

Keenasmustard,
Information from my son, you may want to try these

http://www.chemicaldynamics.adelaide.edu.au/gregstuff/sausage.html

Huon Distributors
2 Osborn St
Wodonga, Victoria 3690
Phone: (02) 6056 2766
Fax: (02) 6056 2873

It would appear that they send a catalogue out free of charge and do mail order..

@Franco, did your new arrival turn up OK?

Franco, what about their import restrictions on foodstuffs? I believe they take violations quite seriously.
