It is easy to use just fill in the numbers in the blue section.

With this calculator you put in firstly, the amount of water and % pump, then ppm you want to achieve. If the nitrates are mixed with salt like cure #1 you put in the percentage of nitrate in the mix. Lastly you put in the % salt, sugar and weight of soluble spice mix that you want to achieve in the meat you are brining. The calculator will work out all the weights of the ingredients you need in the brine.
