Good weather stations are expensive, the cheap stuff is
inaccurate junk for the most part. Accuracy is more important than convenience (IMHO).
I would go with a good thermometer and a hydrometer that can each be calibrated.
I use a cigar humidor hydrometer.

In addition to the thermometer that's on the hydrometer I keep an instant read thermometer (also calibratable) in a cup of water for a running average temp. I got Cooper instant read pocket thermometers at Sam's Club, pack of 2 for about $7.00
