I do not know this one --- but the name speaks for itself

I have a Bizerba slicer - fully auto/manual would not change it for anything
But what do I know

Any time you can score on a Bizerba it's worth it

I did an on line check for the one I have, the below is what I have --- see what they are new and what they are asking for it -- we paid $1500 for ours :D

Wow, the auto ones are expensive, you got a great deal. Mine appears to be a predecessor to this model but with a 13" blade:

I fancied trying a flat-bed slicer, hopefully they're as good as people say they are?

I've got a Berkel RM-301ce which I may yet keep as the Bizerba is without the sharpener accessory. Unless I can get one cheaply/second-hand I'll just sell it on. I don't collect it until tomorrow and should know more after I've spoken to Bizerba and/or their service agents.

That is, unless anyone has any other crafty low cost method of sharpening meat slicer blades?

I would hope you can find a cheap service. There is a sharpist in town here that sharpens mine for $3 while I wait.
