Mincer Sizes

Postby markh » Sun Aug 28, 2005 9:56 pm

Can anyone advise about what mincer sizes mean? e.g. Franco does size 12 or 22.

I am after a coarse plate for my Moulinex HV8 which has plate diameter of 54.2mm (2.13") (with two lugs at 57.8 mm (2.275") diameter by 15.1 mm (0.6") wide ) with a 3.5 mm (0.14") thickness. Is this a standard size and can I use one of Franco's plates?

Drop an email to Paul Johnson at Cartel explaining what you have just written and what you are looking for. They specialise in mincer plates/blades and are based in Slough near London.

Thanks Paul.

I notice they have a web-site with some good 'Care and Maintenance' Tips as well.
