Kenth, in your video you say the wiring diagram and information are in your blog. Could you please add a link to your blog in your profile for us? You went to a lot of effort with version 3.0! Nice control panel.

G'day Mate,
What an awesome piece of equipment, well done. I wish I could build something like that, one day maybe.

Wiring diagram in swedish is "kopplinsschema or elschema" (easy language :-))

Here is a link

But first you have to download TinyCAD and then download my file.

Here is a link to TinyCAD: http://sourceforge.net/projects/tinycad/

Here is a link to my file, you have to follow the link (mognadsskåp.dsn is the file name = curingcamber) i think you kan use google translate ore the internet browser google crome. I trying to make some english versions om my blog so you can understand.

Great work.

Can I ask, how does that vivarium dehumidifier work? You say that it is some kind of heater?

How does that work to remove humidity by heating (if it does indeed do that?).

Its all about dewpoint

Assuming that it's like mine, the heater makes the fridge switch on which reduces the RH.

BTW that's one neat piece of work stborgke - congratulations on a job well done. Mine's not 'hard wired' so has far more wires in the chamber.

So it's (reducing humidity) not about reducing the amount of moisture in the unit, but cooling the air, Phil?

Actually, Phil, I just checked out the OP's (is Stborgke name, 'Borglund'?) link to dewpoint on wiki, and this explains it a lot.

I think you're doing very well, Kenth!

Thanks for great blog; I'm just flipping though it reading bits and bobs.

I have dabbled very briefly in using a humidistat, but it's more of an industrial version and way beyond the abilities of the DHC-100, as far as I can see, but that's another story.

Have anice holiday (I thought today was longest day in UK too, but my calendar says that was yesterday so I am confused).

Later...

Not so much that, because reducing the temperature should actually increase the RH (if the amount of moisture stays the same), but for some reason when the fridge compressor is running the RH drops - I guess that's why fridges normally have low RH.
