Hi
I have and always use a 950 mincer but when I got my Kenwood it came with a 920 mincer (no tubes)

Anyone know the advantage of each?

Thanks
George

I think the 950 is just the more up to date model, are there any obvious visible differences?

I know that some of the mincers aren't interchangeable, but thought that this was between 700 series and 900 series mincers. Kenwood were very helpful when I last rang them - albeit a good while ago.

I have an AT950. The A920 is now, I think, obsolete, although there'll be plenty of examples on eBay.

They both fit the 900 and KM series machines. The original 920s and the new 950s both have metal innards, including the screw mechanism that pushes the meat through the grinding plates.

But for a while, Kenwood produced A920s with a plastic screw, which many people said wasn't up to the job.

You can buy the sausage tubes for the A920 easily enough from the usual spares suppliers or on eBay.

Hi I havent been able to get sausage tubes for the KENWOOD A920 mincer. According to the suppliers on ebay the tubes which fit the A950 mincer are not interchangeable with the ones for the A920. Does anyone know where I could get some sausage tubes and fixing ring to fit my A920?

I think you'll just have to be patient and wait for some second hand ones to come up on Ebay, unfortunately :(

Welcome to the forums, by the way...
