My First Salmon!!!!!!

This morning I started to cure some salmon for the first time!!!!!! :)

I am very nervous that I have done it right, it is currently residing in the fridge waiting til Sunday when I will see the results :?
I will post some pics, but just thought I should let you know that I having started to get the bug! :)

Did you use the shops salmon cure? C'mon cath tell us how you did it, as a lot of us haven't used the shops cure... :D

Right I have unpacked my salmon and washed in down and it is now drying on the side.
Got to leave it for 2 hours and then I can oil it and try some :)

Sounds silly but feeling abit nervous now - hope its worked!!!!

All done and it looks and tastes goregous :D

Am very impressed by how easy it was and now I think I might try salami - wish my luck!!!!!

Seriously, can you explain for us that have no room for smokers, how it was done. Images would be great.

It wasn't the tutorial I was referring to, it was the smoking process. Just me being over sensitive :)
