No Phil, although tarry water collects in it. My concern is that if you use a water bubbler you will be making liquid smoke and leaving all/too much flavour in the condenser.

Curing is not an exact science... So it's not a sin to bin.
So where is the water Dave? Is it in the bottom of the condenser under the smoke inlet pipe or actually in a container under the condenser. Also Dave I remember a while ago seeing a picture of the air pump you use would you let me know the make and model number.
The reason I asked again Dave was because the pump I was using (which was a load of crap) packed in last week. So I remembered your's but had forgotten (oldtimers disease) the model.
Thanks for the ebay link for the pump it arrived yesterday and I tried it out this morning it works great with Porky Pa,s smoker. The pump that he supplies with the smoker is pretty poor on air flow, next to none. Whereas I think I could blow my car tires up with this one.
