mild cheddar, & a bit of brie!

Hadn't popped any results of the 1st smoke here sooner, & it's not like you've not seen a pic of some cheese before!

1st smoke with CSG & a cardboard box, testing out the simplest route to enable cubs to try a piece of their own cheese. (pic from last week, cheese currently in the fridge).

Linked it to my daughters cub website as part of her "Cubs CAN cook" food series.

Whilst I (we) moved the racks around quite a bit turning cheese over, the smoke pattern / saturation is clearly different from one piece to the other.

Looking forward to taking some on a hike for some outdoor eats!

Yup, not bad, visually pleasing.

Tried some with the nipper (having rested it a week) & a positive thumbs up all round (which coming from the wife is high praise indeed).

Personally I'd like more smoke, so will add an extra full load of smoke time & hope it takes, (next time)

That's the only thing about sharing, when you plan a smoke to last you a while you no longer have any left!
