New Project

Well the time has come. I've been wanting a bigger smoker for some time and I have finally decided to build my own rather then buy one. I figure that the materials should be half of what one would cost to buy.
I'm building a stumper clone and I hope to have it ready for next year. I've done alot of looking and have found this style to be the most cost effective. I have talked to other people who have designed and made this type of smoker and have nothing but prase for it. One fellow had it going at 250 degrees for over 24 hours on only 17 lbs. of charcoal. This way I am only limited by my refrigeration and not the size of my smoker.
I can't wait and I'll keep you posted. I'm off to design.
