Can anyone point me in the direction of any good books relating to smoking etc. I keep seeing Keith Erlandsons Home Smoking & Curing mentioned, but it seems to be out of print at the moment, a re-print is due, just no-one seems to know when, I found it on Amazon in the US for 24 plus shipping, but that seems a little steep, when the book shops round here were quoting 10 if they could get it.
So if I can't get that, what do you recommend?
Thanks!

Rich,
Have just read this one which I got from the local library. It was OK however I'm glad I never bought a copy.
The author is Norwegian and there are lots of Norwegian tips for smoking fish and some for meats.
If you want good fish smoking information then this is the book for you.
Me I'm more of your red meat carnivore type

Fortunately I work with one of our members who has a copy I can have a borrow of.
So thanks go to Terry, I'll have a read and then maybe invest in a ream of paper!

be aware that erlandson likes his salt. i wouldn't advise any overly expensive experiments using his guides verbatim
but then, it might just be me
