Ribs and ABTS

Postby wittdog » Thu Dec 27, 2007 11:02 pm

Now that the xmass is behind us I had a chance to do up a little dinner today in the freezing rain, on Bufordit was well worth the effortDid up 3 racks of ribs with my rub, smoking them with some smokilicous hickory, and cherry wood, along with the Hump Lumpand finished with a mix of SBR, Head Country Hot, honey and some AJ..served with cauliflower and cheese and a corn muffin.Burp..Life is good.

OH man that looks good.
What is smokilicous hickory ? I'm almost ready to put in an order to sausagemaker do they carry it?
Great photos and videos too, you have a couple of Jr. sausage makers to help you out now, and to make sausage for you in the future.

Thanks Wittdog so its just like the wood I collect myself. My buddy has a wood lot and we cut wood. For my smoker I select choice maple (sugar), ash, aspen, oak and cherry . I only use the heart woods. I split it and chop it into small chunks. Free only my labour :D
