What kind of rub?
Spicy, hot chilie style, curry, 5 spice, christmas style?????
I use this cajun style rub for chicken and it works well
Cajun spice mix
� 3 tablespoons Salt
� 1 tablespoon black pepper, coarsely ground
� 1 tablespoon garlic powder
� 1 tablespoon sugar
� 1 tablespoons onion powder
� 1 tablespoon oregano, dried
� 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper (or as hot as you wish)
� 1 tablespoon white pepper
� 1 tablespoon thyme, dried
� 1 teaspoon dried mustard
� 1 teaspoon cumin powder
� 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
For a full bird I would make several slashes in the meat to get the rub right in there.
How long will you deep fry it for....must take an age
