Pecan?

Anyone know where I can get a decent amount of Pecan? as I need to smoke a whole heap of Tasso that will be ready soon.

Just a thought, but would nutshells work? It seems like there would be tons of those as surplus in the food industry.

I have acres of them and they are not very wind resistant. Freight might be a bit of a problem but they are free. Wish you were closer you'd be more than welcom to help yourself.

Use the Gulf Stream! Just dump'em into the ocean and they will pick'em up a few months later.

Last Pecan I bought was chips. Western Brand,

was close to $50 per 12 bag case. Next time I'm down south I'll have to look into getting some wood and trailering it back north. Its impossible to find around my parts.
