Hi all, a friend of mine bought one of these for his father who used it once and then put it in the shed, so he would like to sell it:

http://www.charbroil.com/ProductInfo/11 ... moker.aspx It cost him £100 a couple of years ago and I assume it is in very good condition.

Anyone care to estimate what he should ask for it, or indeed is anyone interested in buying it?

Dave

Hi Dave,

I would be interested in buying, dependent on how much it would cost to send it to Norway.

Wouldn't think it will be cheap, it's mostly air.

I realise it won't be cheap for freight, but the only smokers on offer here in Norway are the Bradley, and they start at about 550 pounds sterling for the cheapest model! It's all relative.

The cheapest with the company I've used in the past would be about £46 with Fedex Economy if that's any help.

As to the value, I guess that depends on how much you want it and how much one would cost you where you live.

My wife is going to ask what they are hoping to/would like to get for it... emphasising the high postage charge in hope of a sympathetic figure...

Hi Phil,

Can't get them here, I was looking in Ikea the other day and eyeing up a small stainless steel rubbish bin for use as a cold smoker, but the H2O would be much more versatile. As to how much I want it, well you must know what it's like when you get an itch, sometimes you just have to scratch it!

Hi Dave,

I will leave it in your wife's capable hands!

Regards, Richard

Richard

It's not the cost of the smoker, or the postage you should be worried about - it's Mrs Saucisson's commission fee!

Hey Dave, did you ever do that mini review on the stuffing funnel?
