Help! Smokre Dust won't stay alight

Postby The Shoreditch Smoker » Sun Sep 04, 2011 8:14 am

Hi there

I hope you are all well.

I have had a problem with my new batch of smoke dust. It wont stay alight. I have sat there with the blow torch on it for 5 mins and it starts to smoke and then goes out 5 mins later.

The dust seems pretty dry.

Do anyone have any ideas/advice on how to help?

Thanks in advance

What are you burning it in?

If its the Pro Q make sure the holes are clear buy washing it in kettle hot water to remove the tar build up which can clog the holes thus reducing its smouldering capacity

If you are just burning it on the floor, make sure your air throug put is clear and the dust / wood is bone dry.

Cheers WW

I'm glad that we could help with your problem.

Please stick around and let us know what it is that you're smoking and the end result.
