Anyone for poo sausage?

Postby ComradeQ » Thu Feb 20, 2014 2:38 pm

Ok, come on, I know the paper sucks but if there is even a shred of truth to this article then the world has officially gone insane! Anyway, I present (drool) the one and only (mmmmm) elusive baby poo sausage ...

I'm surprised they've not complained about Spanish Baby Poo nicking all our British Baby Poo's jobs!

I fail to understand why non-acid labile probiotic bacteria harvested from the gut and propagated in a petri dish would be any different from the same non-acid labile probiotic bacteria harvested from other sources and propagated in a petri dish. Further, how much of the probiotic bacteria incorporated in the sausage survive long exposure to stomach acid to make it to the gut? I'll stick with lab strains and encourage folks to add a little fiber to their diets...

Is that pic before or after you ate them ? You could always make them into patties until you source some casings - would look a lot more appealing.

Patties and hiding them in sausage rolls is the modus operandi at the moment. Casings have been ordered, and will hopefully be here this week.
