I managed to shoot a nice Doe and Buck this year - so the freezer is full and I need to convert it into summer sausage.
I have never made this before, so for the first time I bought a Backwoods Summer Sasusage kit that's made by a company called LEM.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this kit?
I know I really should be using one of the recipes on here for summer sausage (or making up my own!)
but for the first time I wanted something that would be easy to do, and the kit has everything in it I'll need.
anyways - If anyone has any tips or feedback about this kit I would appreciate it..
I have some nice chipotle powder I was thinking of adding to half the batch - but I have never tasted summer sausage so I have no idea if that will work out or not
