Lidl Bordeaux wines

Scroll down the link to the Bordeaux wines on offer at Lidl, they seem very reasonable for the quality. Although not every day drinking wine, I'm thinking of selecting a few bottles for Christmas. At these prices it saves getting the ferry over to France !

Lidl wines are great, the cheap ones are much better than the more expensive versions you can get elsewhere. Aldi wine is good too.

Supposed to be a wine sale starting at Lidl tomorrow 17/11. Margaux 2011 marked down from £18.99 to £4.99, a 73% discount ! If anyone manages to get one then let us know. Just hoping that they have some in my local store.....

Lidl have come along in leaps & bounds recently - Their "Delux" range is good & the recent upmarket approach to the wines is great. Here in Greece, sometimes it's the "Little" things you miss. Greeks tend not to go for the French wines however & there is a lot of marked down stock to shift it...Just in time for Christmas eh! :D
