STX3000 GRINDER REPLACEMENT PLATES?

Postby ducksoup » Tue Jan 27, 2015 12:14 pm

2 years ago I purchased an STX-3000 TurboForce grinder and I'm looking for some replacement grinder plates for it. It takes a size 12 plate but they aren't like anything standard that's out there. I bought it through Amazon but they don't show that they carry any replacements. The ones I have are fine but I'd just like to have a spare set just in case.
Thanks for any help.

Is there something special about these #12 plates that you cannot use #12 plates for any other supplier? They should be pretty much interchangeable.

the plates ive seen have a single indent on the plate that locks into a raised bump inside the mouth of the grinder assembly. the ones that came with the STX3000 have two little ears, one on each side of the grinder plates and these slip into notches on the outside of the mouth of the grinder assembly.

Here's what the normal #12 looks like

Found them! The USA distributor is a company called "Mercantile Station 2". http://www.mercantilestation2.com

$30 US for a set of three.
