Premier League Winners

I can't claim to have supported my local team over the years, but my neighbour is a life long supporter and still a season ticket holder in his 90th year. Against all odds Leicester City have won the Premier League.

I've raised a glass to Leicester City tonight.

Me too! I think you'll remember who used the phrase "Leicester miracle" back in January. :D There hasn't been a first time winner in 38 years. Well done lads.

Thanks Paul.

A Leicestershire lad has also won the World Snooker Championship today, so it's a double celebration.

There'll be some sore heads in town tomorrow!

As an ex-pat born in Leicester I have to say I am extremely proud of the home team! It has been surreal hearing people all around me here talking about Leicester ... especially since most of the years I have lived here no Canadian has known or heard of Leicester when I tell them I am from there. Suddenly everyone I know is talking about it ... even had a guy I work with talking about Leicester the other day and when I said I was born there he said "wow, you're lucky, I would love to visit"! Visit Leicester?? Lol! That's a first!

Sure is, even I don't visit unless I can help it and I only live 7 miles away!
