I forgot the Cure #2 in my first salami.... Will it be ok?

So I made my first salami and forgot the cure behind some other stuff on the counter....
Can I still put it in the curing chamber?

You could but you will end up throwing it out. Best use it as a fresh sausage -- and no you cannot go back and mix it in -- sorry :9

(That sounds like my boss, asks my opinion and does what he wants regardless of what my professional experience indicates is best.) Thanks for your advice Robert, it's nice to know there are people willing to offer hints for the safety of us clueless rookies :-D
