raclette recipe needed

Hi everyone,
our jersey cow will probably calf today. does anyone know of a raclette cheese recipe.

my swiss farming friend is travelling,so can`t get hers at the moment. got into this and fondue while in switzerland for a year,recently.

i am living in shetland,crofting for our selves ie not as a business.

I think lauraj was after a recipe/method for making the cheese itself.

I thought raclette was melted cheese over whatever takes your fancy, but apparently not:

I can remember reading Heidi as a child and the old grandfather melting cheese over the fire and scraping it over his bread. I always wondered how he did it without making a mess of the fireplace. Needless to say my mother wasn't one to allow experiments based on what you had read in a book!
