Just noticed these on a site I go to for thai recipes.

Not tried them but they look pretty interesting.

The site is amazing for general thai cookery.

Some of the sausages look pretty low fat too. The first one doesn't seem to have any in, just chicken and rice.

it is related to ginger, with a similar but distictive flavour. You can get it in Chinese supermarkets around here.

Hi,
we have just put a Thai sausage on the market here. I made it as it is tradition, course, with authentic herbs & spices as well as a healthy dose of Chilly but instead of the rice as filler used soy which gives it a more european texture without the grainniness of the rice which makes a lot of people trying orignal Thai sausages to comments like "sawdust" - it is selling very well, also to Thai's who prefere the smoother texture as well.
Some Thai sausages, like the Chiang Mai sausage contiain over 50% fat by the way and hefty amounts of MSG (I'm not against MSG at all, but when 5% are added it ca't be too good for you)
