Spanish Paprika

Postby grant » Fri Jul 20, 2007 9:57 pm

Hi Folks,
I used to be supplied with wonderful Spanish paprika from my brother in law who is Spanish but my supply has ceased!
Can anyone suggest a supplier of the said paprika. I am happy to buy in bulk if necessarry (5 Kg) I have tried the paprika from asian shops but this has no flavour at all (it might aswell be called 'food colouring')
The closest I can get is the 'smoked paprika' sold in tiny tins for extortionate prices!
Any help would be appreciated.

Grant.

5.99 a kilo, regular, hot smoked or sweet smoked depending on your preference

If you use the request information form on the site they may quote for larger quantities.

Hot paprika

Many thanks JPJ and Saucisson for your info.
Just one question: Is the 'Hot paprika' as hot as chile powder or is it milder?
Thanks again,

Grant

The hot one is around half the heat of cayenne, in my opinion.
