A good deal

Just got a great deal on Ebay. 6ft of 7&1/2 inch metal flexible tubing.
Bought a gas burner last week and already have a Whisky barrel to smoke in, so I now just need to make up the smoke box to be back in business.
Havent been smoking stuff for years and lost my last smoker when we moved. When I took it apart the whole thing collapsed!!

Yes will do. Im just trying to work something out to uses as a smokebox for the burner.
The other problem is the Barrel. I think it isnt going to be a bright idea putting a door in the side as I suspect the whole barrel might become loose so its down to cutting the top out and hanging stuff on rails.

So that means getting the barrel up off the ground, and my wife is ony 4'10" !!

I need to get the smoke making box lower than the actual smoking chamber. Ive decidednow to pust the barrel up on a metal frame I have then turn it on its side. Run the smok in low at one end and out higher up the other end

Well after a spectacular accident that left me up that wonderfull famous creek without a paddle for ages, its back to the home made smoker idea.
Ive got to try it slowly slowly and if that doesnt work its out with the wallet and buy a Bradley, unless someone has one for sale ??

Have you seen the Porky Pa smoker...

You could bolt it onto the side of the barrel very easily and not have to raise up the barrel. My home made version works very well for my occassional home use.
