Curry Worst

Postby cumberland-sausage » Thu Apr 28, 2005 11:29 am

I lived in Holland for a couple of years and many takeaways did curry worst. Does anyone have a recipe by any chance?

Thanks for the link.

I'm originally from Cumbria, Whitehaven to be exact, but I moved down to Cheshire with my parents about 18 years ago.

I've been buying my Cumberland sos and bacon from Richard Woodalls in Waberthwaite for a while now but for them to deliver I have to order quite large quantities (20kg), which isn't too bad when my local pub buys some of it. It's a pain storing it when they don't. :?

Well, I'm gonna make some Cumberland sos and some black pudds this weekend. I'll let you know how they come out. I might even let you into my secret recipe  :o

Aldi and Lidl both do very good Bratwursts (fresh)

To make the sauce mix up some ketchup with a good tablespoon of curry powder and thin it a bit with some water.

Slow fry the bratwursts first. Chop up the bratwurst and pour on the sauce. Eat with chips and mayonaisse.
