Great post Big Guy, I know I'm not the only one that loves to see what you're up to in your garden as we sit looking out over our pocket handkerchief gardens (back yards).

Hey Big Guy,
What kind of rotation do you do on the tatters?

I rotate Potatoes, then squash then corn. the rest of the garden gets rotated through, tomatoes, beans, carrots and peppers, onions and cabbage
that keeps me going . I have to write it all down so I can remember what went where last year.

Big Guy lives a dream a lot of us have. I'm in awe of some of the picture sequences he posts. Do you market your excess produce Big Guy or do you have a huge family?!
I've just scattered my packet of rocket seeds and mixed salad leaves in my flower bed, that's about it for me !

Thats a lot of potatoes
I tried the no dig mulch method last year couldnt keep them moist enough we get no rain for 6 months over winter and last year was the driest for 40 years.
Sweet potatoes did OK but Dutch creams failed.

I just put the blow torch to pvc tube for my hanging hydroponic strawberry tower.

Most of my taters go to family and I have a few bags that are sold to friends and neighbours. Most are spoken for before I dig them.

I remember seeing the harvest photos from last fall but Photobucket seems to have lost them. :( It gives the armchair gardener, with a couple of mouse clicks, a chance to go from planting to harvest in the minimum time (and no dirt). :D You're off to a great start Big Guy.

My bad. I re-arranged my photos into different albums, so when I moved them old posts won't find them. It should be Ok this year as I don't intend to move things around.
