How To Link Sausages In Threes

Postby Paul Kribs » Fri May 21, 2010 4:21 am

I notice that the 'How To Link Sausages' link on the main site does not take you where it is supposed to. When I made the video clip I put a reduced version on my webspace, so if anyone wishes to learn how to Link Sausages In Threes, click HERE

links in pairs

Postby spudeye » Fri May 21, 2010 5:44 am

Thanks Paul I have 3 down pat.
So for the twos or pairs (I like to do hog that I stuff firmer / fuller especially chicken in pairs) is it easier to lay the unlinked sausage out and make a fold back on itself at mid length. Decide on the length U want and working from the folded over or bottom of the V, squeeze the two links at that point and twist them together. Work your way down the length..
Or is there an even easier way. Please tell .. :?

Great video you did as well, its the best out here .

Purrfect so far as this is what I do

So far so good. there is one slight, and I do mean slight problem; your solution for them not to come untwisted if you was to hang them up to dry.

If you take one end and thread it threw the (twisted) loop you made all would be well. Just remember to alternate each side going threw the loops as you come down the chain.

To be really honest with you with all my years of making sausage I find this the teadest, yes there is an easier way of doing this ........ have some one else do it for you. :) I will get my skins ..........
