Just a quick heads up Morrisons Cream at £1 for 600 ml

Postby Abrwstr » Thu Jul 01, 2010 10:08 pm

Morrisons has 600ml of double cream at the moment for £1 (at least the Maldon Essex store does) It's a football special so not sure how long it will go on for, but bought 6 tubs this evening Thursday 1/7/10, should carry on over the weekend I would have thought

@Abstrwr - I think many missed it as I just tagged it on the end of the buttermaking thread. I should have made it a new post.

Maybe Dr Dave could add a forum subsection on "Cut Price Offers" as we get various posts up with cream, flour, pork etc, etc and it just keeps all these deals in one useful place.
Cheers,

Mike

I have no particular views either way but can't see why they can't go in the underused Town Cryer section:

The Market Place is the area to post all those bargains, recommend your own local suppliers and artisans and donate unwanted goods. Please stop by in here to read the rules.

That was what the Market Place was created for, amongst other things, but as Phil notes I don't think many people spot it sitting down at the bottom there :) If we can try and put bargains in there it may help raise its profile a bit. Otherwise I have no problem with creating a bargain section a bit higher up the forum if that doesn't work out.
