Yep you are correct, packaging is crucial. It is not only a legal requirement for my goods but if nicely done it sets the product off really well.

BTW I did visit Ludlow the day you weren't there - very good but no doubt would have been better if you were there! Hopefully I will get there again before Christmas and I will be looking for your stall - will it be like the one in my photo by then?

Stall transformation is on the horizion - I am designing a new look for my plank. But it will be basicially the same format. Look forward to seeing you.

Are you destined for a career in tv? I presume you were the famous sausage maker who faced Adam in the sausage challenge. Well Done, but to be honest I would have probably gone for the pork - if it was well made - because I am a traditionalist where my sausages are concerned (but I do love pigeon).

You did a great job with the sausage and promoting Ludlow - just a pity the Beeb cut out the plug for this forum!

Well done, I hope your business goes from strength to strength.

I saw it too! The chap with the "Key Cottage" writing on his shirt? Maybe it was the sausage that gave it away?

Thanks for the comments - didnt get to see it myself (working at Ludlow Green Festival). the sausage Adam had made for him were soooo salty they were nearly unedible. Interestingly he told me he sent his whole pig to the butchers and asked for them to turn the whole lot into sausages. Trust me there was not a lot of loin or shoulder in those sausages. they were almost white with fat and I had to tip the fat out of the pan twice before they filmed a shot. anyway he has someone else making his sausages for him now :wink:

It's repeated on Friday 3rd September at 2:45 in the morning and I've set it to record should anyone want a copy on DVD.

I'll record it on my TV PC, and then edit it down, and then convert to a .flv for people to download; you'll just have to wait until next Friday though.
